Faculty, researchers, and graduate students all take turns giving presentations on current topics in Network Science, rotating through the different focus areas: social sciences, algorithms, biological networks, dynamics and control, and Cyberinfrastructure. We occasionally have prominent researchers and entrepreneurs as guest speakers. Also, many seminars deviate from research to touch on professional skills development.
The Seminar in Network Science can be taken for two units by registering for CompSci 595J. Seminar times may vary from quarter to quarter in order to accommodate the schedules of all participants; however all seminars are held in the Network Science Lab conference room.
