Abstract

Key ingredients for a successful startup are the business idea, founder’s drive and ability, and adequate financial resources. The speaker will discuss practical ways and prescribe a career roadmap for a young person to succeed in entrepreneurship without taking undue risks.

Bio: Milton Chang is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor. He successfully built Newport and New Focus to IPO and also participated in incubating Aurrion, a local startup born in UCSB. He is an engineer graduated from the University of Illinois and Caltech and is currently a Trustee of Caltech.
