I am a second year Ph.D student co-advised by Prof. Francesco Bullo and Prof. Otger Campas. One of my long term interests is studying collective motion. Flocking behaviors and synchronized motion are found in a wide array of biological systems ranging from schools of fish to groups of cells. Currently, I am working on trying to explain collective motion in biological cells using physics-based models and feedback laws. We analyze these models using tools from control engineering and plan to corroborate these models using actual experimental data.
