I am a third-year phd student in Dept. Mechanical Engineering, advised by Prof. Bullo. My research interests include group decision making, epidemic spreading and competitive propagation on social networks. Social network has been a very hot research area in the recent decade. Researchers with different backgrounds (control, physics, sociology et al) look at this problem in different points of view. We apply mathematical tools widely utilized in the area of dynamical systems and control, such as stochastic process, matrix analysis, algebraic topology, dynamical systems and game theory to build models for various dynamics on social networks and analyze their behaviors, eg, discussing the phase transition and asymptotic behaviors of the competitive propagation on social networks, in the context of nonlinear dynamical systems.
